Fort Chiswell Animal Park的点评
点评：On June 9, 2023 two adults and four teenagers went to the Fort Chiswell Animal Park in Max Meadows, Virginia. The Animal Park is conveniently located off Interstate 81 in Wythe County.
The fee to see the animals is $20 anyone over 13 years old. It’s $18 senior citizen and $15 for 1-12. A bag of feed is $5.
Everyone boards an old school bus that drives around the park to see the animals. The time frame is 45 minutes but ours lasted 29 minutes.
There are no animals we saw that got anyone excited. Honestly there were very few animals at all. One old camel following the bus in hoping to be fed. A few Zebras, a few water buffaloes and an American Buffalo. Small turtles in a very dirty pond and few limas.
Our guide said the park is expanding and more animals will be brought in. Hopefully this will improve the atmosphere.
The bus needs to be cleaned after each tour since there was feed & animal mucous on the seats.
Perhaps we just picked a bad day to visit. Several years ago with different grandkids we had a blast.
