点评：My experience was similar to what other reviewers said. The entire place is somewhat of a hidden gem, as you don't see too much of it from the road. The area appears to be a smaller section of a former railyard, based on how many tracks there are and their layout. But as someone commented, there's no explanation as to why these particular cars are here, nor what the area used to service. Most of the cars you see are not accessible to the public. However, you can either go into or peek inside an engine, a passenger car, and a few specialty cars. The dental car was particularly interesting, and I think it's one of the jewels of this museum. The gift shop is small, but you exit into the old railway station, and that in itself is an interesting tour. You can go into the old telegraph office, and see historical memorabilia of Royal visits. Overall, the museum is worth visiting if you're going to be in Smiths Falls for a few days. It's a great activity if you have small children, as most of your time will be spent outside meandering around the property.
