点评:The 14-tier step garden is only one part of the very interesting Arcos building. The step back feature recreates a mountain in an urban setting. From afar, the building is supposed to look like a mountain rising from the park which fronts it. Unfortunately on the day we visited the stairs to the roof-top garden were blocked off.
We entered the building and found ourselves in the atrium, a space open from the lowest level up to the 12th floor. The curved space with loads of light and glass, stairs and escalators, was every bit as exciting as the exterior step garden of another wing of the building. Truly a wonderful space.
We were able to peak into some of the halls on the first floor: a performance space and the symphony hall. The building also contains shops, galleries, restaurants, conference rooms and offices.
