Great show, but Terrible Everything Else

点评：Ruoff has seriously gone downhill since the last time we were here a couple years ago. It was like a “Choose Your Own Adventure” book where every choice leads to misery. Our journey began with a 30-minute crawl from the highway off-ramp to the parking lot, something that would take only 6 minutes in non-traffic conditions. The roundabouts were frustrating because many drivers would drive in the right lane and then cut into the left lane upon reaching a roundabout, causing the left lane drivers to wait doubly long to proceed forward. Then once we finished parking in the grass lot, we had to trek through the uneven grass and dusty gravelly roads to reach the music center. After getting through security and walking to our assigned seats, we had to sit on bird poop-covered chairs. When we left the concert, we had to hike a mile back to our parking spot and then once in our car, it took ages for the traffic controller to allow us to leave. Literally, by the time we exited, an hour had elapsed from the end of the show! It never used to be this bad. We’re going to avoid this venue at all costs unless a really desirable act comes, but it’s not likely that will happen for a while.
