Brilliant day out at the lido

点评：Took my kids aged 12 & 16 to the lido for a last day out before they head back to school. Weather was not too bad at 22 degrees. The lido has limited parking, but if you have a look on the website, details about alternative parking is provided.
We went for the inflatables season and booked a double session. So the kids had a couple of hours with inflatables in the water and a couple of hours general swimming.
We brought swimming rings for a bit of fun. The lido has free lockers and changing rooms. There is a disabled toilet as well.
There are several picnic tables and recliner sun beds that can be used, but it gets quite busy, so there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to get one, so feel free to bring your own seats, as we did.
There’s a small cafe which serves hot and cold drinks as well as food like chips, hotdogs and pizza and the price isn’t too bad, but we brought along our own picnic.
We were there for nearly 5 hours and staff made sure to keep the site rubbish free. There are plenty of bins which are emptied regularly.
The kids had a fantastic day and barely got out of the water.
They were both asleep in the car within minutes.
A most enjoyable day out and highly recommended.
