点评：We just went to the hot pools, not the big pool. We go for the water and It is wonderful. I love the smell of sulfur on my skin because I know it means the water is healing, and it is. For many years I taught school and I would take my students on a field trip that covered some aspect of Idaho such as history, geology, geography and even maps and graphing where we would go, how long it would take and how many miles we would cover.
Now I am retired, but I still try to come up several times a year for the healing water.
It is a bit of a family thing. My great aunt, really a long time ago, would go and rent a room for a month and soak every day in the healing waters. For us older folks, Heise is the best soak I know of. I'll let the younger people talk about the awesome slides, the big pool, Pizza and other good food. Heise has something for everyone who likes a down home experience.
The water does tarnish silver but it returns to, well, silver after a few days, no worries.
The drive up is so beautiful, it never fails to thrill us. Right now it is fall and a lovely fall! I have attached some pictures. You can see the geography of this area of Idaho.
