Nice departmental store
王府井百货(春熙路)的点评
点评：This is a nice and huge departmental store that is near our hotel and everyday we will pass by it. Like other departmental stores, there are lifestyle products like fashion, shoes, bags and cosmestics etc over several storeys, the supermarket is located at the basement, that carries a wide range of foodstuff and merchandise.
When we shopped there, it was quite early, around 11am, (think the store just opened for the day not too long ago) there were very few shoppers and in fact, there were more staff than shoppers. Whenever you walk into a section, the staff will come up to you and ask if you need help or recommend you something. While this is a nice gesture, somehow one will feel "pressured or being pestered" all over the place. I prefer to shop quietly and alone.
There's also a fresh fruit counter where the staff will cut the fruits for you on the spot. We bought a rock melon and the staff instantly cut it and packed nicely for us for free. Really good.
Overall, a nice shopping experience less the "pestering of the staff"!
