Wine is nice, but avoid eating here!
Abbey Winery and Brewery的点评
点评：Went for lunch and a winetasting.
Lunch was dreadful, very limited choice, and only choices were an expensive platter of cheeses etc or Pizza, or kids food. We were hungry, and opted for a pizza and chips.
The pizza was the worst I've ever eaten, maybe from a freezer and topped with a sweet BBQ type sauce. We were hungry, but left most of it. The place needs to really look at their food menu and make dramatic changes, or even just close the restaurant and reopen it when they have a proper chef or good cook. We were visiting with family from Australia, and enjoy nice food combined with nice wine, which is available in many wineries in Australia.
They could easily offer cheese platters for less than $80!
The wine was lovely, but we also were not accustomed to paying for 4 taste glasses, however, we did buy a few bottles.
My advice is, eat before you go!
