Disappointing pricing

点评：During our last trip in spring and summer 2024, this beach, with a setup from Cap Jaluca was amazing! When I reserved again for our Jan 15 2025 date, I was assured by the concierge via email that the same pricing would ensue ($50 for two chairs, umbrella, towels and some waters in a cooler). After we were there for a few hours, we went to pay the bill and to my horror, the rate was more than doubled --now $153.00 with tax and gratuity vs the $63.00. When I complained they were not interested in listening to me, and make that clear, by talking over me, repeating that they changed prices in 2025. I'm not understanding how I would know that. The date I had made the reservation for eating in their restaurant Uchu and using the beach chairs was made in 2024, but the date I had emailed them was for 2025. I also confirmed it on the phone the day before we arrived. Thus, all I can say is confirm pricing BEFORE sitting down on a beach chair, even if you think you have. Your other option is to bring your own chairs/towels or to take their golf cart to the other side of the beach, and rent chairs at the Cap Shack for $10.00 each (if they have chairs). Or drive down Firefly lane to the Cap Shack and park on that road to go to Cap Shack. They do not want anyone driving on their property who is not a guest. We wanted to experience a breakfast/lunch there and stay all day, but after breakfast brunch at Cips, and finding out they had doubled the price of the chairs, we were done for the day....and maybe for longer. I'm not sure why they can't post their pricing online, if it changes from week to week. It is a beautiful beach, and from what I gather, the better swimming is on the Cip's side.
