Great horses and riding experience

点评：We did the Horses & Hot springs tour, a half day riding four (2,5 - 3h long). Everything was well structured and organized. The horses had been pre-selected based on the riding experience indicated when you finalize the booking, and on the day of the ride they ask again for how long each person has been riding to confirm the horse matching. The horses are all sturdy and easy, but some might be more eager to do the tolt (Icelandic horse trot) while others can be lazier, so they will not assign a speed loving horse to someone with less experience who might not be able to fully control it. We were not lucky with the weather but the Eld.Hestar team gave us rain proof jackets and pants to put on top of our own. The forest part of the ride is short but beautiful, and then you find yourself in a geothermal area full of hot vapor steaming from the ground. Depending on the group overall experience and willingness, you might be lucky enough to experience a river crossing - which was very fun and a great show of the horses strength! Their tolt is smooth and something we couldn’t get enough of. Absolutely loved the experience, just a shame we did it all under pouring rain!
