Eldhestar Volcano Horses的点评
点评：I love Eldhestar. This is my second time riding with them. In 2022 I did Mountains and Meadows with a friend who was a beginner, and I was a nervous low intermediate (but it was amazing). This time I chose 3B Soft Riverbanks with my 16 year old daughter. We are strong intermediate riders who ride weekly in an arena, but don’t have much experience hacking. This was a great way to start! We rode a lot of tolt and quite a bit of canter as well. The horses were fantastic- quick and responsive to our cues, while remaining strong and steady. If you are not a regular rider and comfortable at all gaits, this isn’t the ride for you (go for Mountains and Meadows). But if you’re like us, riding regularly in lessons and looking to get experience outdoors, it’s perfect. Our guide was also a great teacher and she corrected my leg position (back!), which helped my horse be more comfortable and responsive. Once I understood how the Icelandic seat felt, it became natural and the tolt was like the wind. I am happy because I not only enjoyed the ride and scenery, but I improved my own riding as well.
