Fantastic family entertainment! (Apart from the air horns)
Skegness Raceway - Stadium的点评
点评：Have never been to a raceway like this, it sounded like a fun activity to do whilst on holiday with my other half & 2 children.
We pre-booked tickets online. We entered the stadium and as it was raining we headed to the new covered seating area. As we went up the steps a member of staff asked if we had wristbands? We didn’t, so we were directed to the shop to buy some. I wish it had given this as an option online when we booked as it would have saved so much time. Also we noticed a lot of other people climbing the stairs and being turned away as they didn’t know they needed wristbands either. A simple sign explaining You need a wristband to enter this seating area and where to purchase them could have prevented a lot of confusion.
Anyway, the racing itself was fabulous. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to understand what was being said over the tannoy due to people mindlessly blowing air horns which were on sale at the stadium. These air horns really were the worst aspect, by the end our ears were ringing. I hope the managers of the stadium take these off sale as they were a real menace, they risked ruining our experience. I’m sure there are many other ways to make revenue without selling things that ruin the experience of others.
Big thunder the monster truck was soo entertaining. Overall we really enjoyed our visit. We purchased burgers & fries whilst there and we were served quickly, the food was good and good value for money.
This is a brilliant place and I’d definitely come again next time I’m in the area.
