点评:I grew up working at a trail riding stable. From my teens, into my 20s, back again from my late 20s into my 30s. I kept my own horses there and guided trails, taught lessons, and drove hayrides (along with other tasks).
I am now much older and frail from systemic lupus and the meds I have to take. I absolutely cannot afford a fall, so I was not really expecting ever to ride again. But I really wanted to.
I booked my ride after a thorough conversation about where I was coming from. When I got to the ranch, I immediately felt good about being there. The place was clean but looked like a working ranch. The horses looked healthy and happy to be where they were. The workers were considerate of the horses when tacking them up, and my cinch was tied perfectly - not too tight for the horse, not too loose for the saddle.
The horse I rode was perfectly behaved and very gentle. My guide was the same. I had more fun than I have had in years.
Thank you, Bobby's Ranch!
