Gukas - The Best Coffee Tour!

点评：There are several coffee plantation tours available within the Nairobi region so it can be challenging to know which one to go with. I found Gukas by accident at the Farmers Market when I was looking at a sign they had advertising. When I learned that it was a farm to table type establishment who are passionate about the environment and welfare of all of the staff, I knew I wanted to check it out.
My tour felt so VIP! It included so much education beginning with the planting, manicuring and harvesting of the coffee beans, the roasting process, the grinding and brewing process and finally, reaping what we sowed by drinking the coffee.
Prior to my arrival they sent me a menu to choose for lunch. I am a vegetarian which they had no issue with and made a really healthy and delicious lunch for me.
It was an interactive day with a relaxed and casual feel. I interacted with several different staff members throughout the day, all who were personable and professional. The Gukas premises is in a peaceful and tranquil setting, beautifully maintained and feels like an oasis.
I would definitely recommend a day trip here and if I ever return to Nairobi I would return again. Thank you to all at Gukas who helped make this one of my favorite days in Kenya!
