点评:During my visit to the ISKCON Kharghar temple, I was immediately struck by the beauty of its interiors. The architecture radiates elegance through intricate floral motifs that appear everywhere — on the marble walls and pillars, across the ceiling with its grand chandelier, and even on the floors below. The floral theme ties the entire space together, giving it a serene and aesthetically pleasing charm.
At the heart of the temple stood the idols of Lord Krishna and Radha — Krishna in a striking black form and Radha in white — both dressed in vibrant, colourful attire. Nearby, another shrine featured Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana, adding to the spiritual atmosphere. The gardens in front of the temple were beautifully landscaped, though visitors were not allowed inside that day.
On the ground floor, Govinda’s restaurant added a sweet note to my visit — I tried a rasgulla that was simply delicious. The entire experience left a lasting impression. It is a temple I would gladly visit again, especially for anyone living in or around Mumbai seeking peace and beauty in equal measure.
