Richmond Art Museum的点评
点评：What a pleasing little museum!
Their facility is itself a fine work of architecture. Their collection is not enormous but it does contain works by some moderately well-known artists, such as Childe Hassam, Robert Indiana, and Frank Duveneck. Pn this occasion they had a very good special exhibition with a gallery talk--which we did not hear since we had other scheduled stops.
My only complaint is that on a couple of their older works, the spotlights were a bit too narrow and bright and caused very bright sections in the center of the canvas. I'm pretty fussy about museum lighting and I've been in major ones that were far worse, but perhaps someone wants to get some soft-focus cels with a larger spot?
Free admission! But put some folding cash in their donation jar, please.
