A bit off the highway but well worth the time

点评：I liked this place. They didn't open till 10 on the Monday I got there but it was worth the wait for sure. The weather was beautiful and I was the only one there. The gentleman behind the desk was really nice and very informed. You can browse the gift shop area but have to pay to take the tour. You can opt for taking a tour of all buildings on the site or just three. If you opt for the 3 (which is what I did) you get to select the three you want. The train and the train station are considered separate so those are two of your three. There is a lot of history there and well worth the stop. Also, there is a beautiful park across the street if you have kids you want to turn loose at the playground before you hit the road again.
On another note, there is a very cute little lending library out front near the street. A very cute idea and one you don't see much anymore.
