The Whisky Line - Keith & Dufftown Railway的点评
点评：Wonderful, well run, railway. This railway runs for 11 miles from Dufftown railway station to Keith Town railway station. Keith Town was originally connected to the national railway network at Keith railway station. If coming by train, as I did, this is a pleasant 20 minute walk away.
The journey time is around 40 minutes each way and passes through picturesque scenery, with forest and farmland, glens, castles and distilleries explained in a laminated A4 sheet available to borrow for reference on the train. There is a cafe at Dufftown for refreshments and a rail memorabilia and souvenir shop at Keith Town. Rail enthusiasts, UK and international tourists, locals, families with children are all catered for but adults only can have a dram on the Dram Tram service. This is a well-presented and friendly well-staffed service where you can sit back and relax in traditionally-decorated bar car whilst having a whisky or two as the train meanders along its route. Excellent.
