A Nice Place to Visit but Poorly run Car Park.

点评：The harbour, the coastal walk, local food shops et al provide a superb experience. The worst aspect is the car park. It seems that it is run by a private company which has no consideration for visitor experience. For example, in Looe, you can pay for two hours or more as required. Here it is minimum three hours or more. In Looe, you can pay by App, or a QR code to pay on line and book in advance. Here in Polperro, you can only pay by pound coins. You need enough cash as minimum is £7. If you have a note, there is a machine that provides change. However, the day we arrived a machine adjacent to the change machine was not working and few people had their money in the machine and no idea how to get it back. Then a man arrived and opened the machine and coins fell onto the ground and they collected what was put in. It is absurd that in the age of digital technology you cannot pay with a bank card. Of course, there is notice displayed that if you put in money by mistake or a wrong amount that doesn't cover the minimum, it is not refundable.
