Payyambalam Beach的点评
点评：I have visited this beach many times in my childhood, and now in Dec 27,2024 with my little one. Located Between Meenkunnu Beach to the north and Cantonment Baby Beach to the south. Payyambalam Beach is part of a group of five beaches in Kannur, which are known for their unique distribution of boulders, water sports, and migratory birds. Adjacent to the beach is a beautifully landscaped garden and park, known as the Payyambalam Beach Park. The park features well-maintained lawns, shaded seating areas, and children's play equipment.
The beach stretches over 4 kilometers, offering ample space for visitors to relax and enjoy the scenic surroundings.
The beach's soft, golden sands and clear blue waters create a picturesque setting that is perfect for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing day by the sea.
Payyambalam Beach is famous for its breathtaking sunsets. As the sun dips below the horizon, the sky transforms into a canvas of vibrant colors, providing a mesmerizing backdrop for evening walks and photography.
The beach park also houses several statues and memorials dedicated to prominent personalities from Kerala. Notable among these is the sculpture of a mother and child, created by the renowned artist Kanayi Kunhiraman, which adds a touch of artistic charm to the beach.
