Islet of Vila Franca do Campo的点评
点评：We visited at the tail end of the season - make sure you check thoroughly as we initially thought the ferry service ended in Sept but in fact it continued through to mid Oct.
Not only do you have to prebook tickets, you also need to get to the port ahead of time - we arrived just as the ferry was filling up and were not allowed to board - unfortunately for us, we ended up having to wait almost 1.5 hours for the next one.
Once you get there, you will find it fairly basic, not many areas for sunbathing as it is pretty much a paved path and jagged rocks either side of it so you will have to make do.
Limited in terms of places to hike either, effectively you can go a little higher to take photos of the crescent shape of the island and that is pretty much it.
The main thing to do here is snorkel and enjoy the view - spent most of our time doing that and it was fabulous.
