点评：If you are driving from Anchorage or Girdwood towards Seward or Homer, you will end up passing this area - considering it takes a moment to go through the scheduled traffic + you want to check out Whittier I would combine it with something else on the road as otherwise it's just not enough time during the day to do it right.
The tunnel was $13 round trip (you only pay towards Whittier, on the way back you just line up and go).
Check the schedule for summer vs winter - basically each side, in summer, runs every hour - so plan accordingly and don't waste time in the line - it's pricey but for passenger cars it's just that $13 so totally worth it + the experience is pretty unique, no need to book in advance, you just show up and pay on the spot
There is not that much going on in Whittier but it's pretty scenic town, with good food + the tunnel drive is a decent "package"
The lines are for each classes so they will tell you on the spot also which one to take
TIP: trains cause some delays as after the ride 15m is needed to vent it, so don't arrive here tight on time
