African Spring Safari at Olmalaika Trust: clean, beautiful, and unforgettable game drives

点评：We did three day trips with African Spring Safari based at the Olmalaika Trust and it was amazing from start to finish. Our driver, Kamunge, was respectful, professional, and genuinely eager to make sure we saw what we hoped to see. He was quick to chase down leads when we mentioned animals on our wish list, and he never made us feel rushed.
One of our days was about 9 hours in the Masai Mara and we saw all of the Big 5 except rhinos. Even so, we felt like we got the full Big 5 experience because the day before we saw rhinos in another area, including both black rhinos (incredibly rare) and white rhinos.
The lion sightings were unreal. We saw an entire pride of 14 lions, plus 2 to 3 male lions wandering around and active, not just sleeping. We also loved watching elephants with their babies, including the little ones nursing from their mamas. And my personal favorite was the monkeys and their babies, so cute and such a special thing to see up close.
Olmalaika Trust was also a wonderful home base. The lodging was clean and comfortable, and the views and gardens were beautiful. If you want a safari where the guide truly listens, works hard to deliver, and helps you see what you came for, I highly recommend African Spring Safari and ask for Kamunge.
