Worth spending a day!
Pilikula Nisargadhama的点评
点评：First of all, there's a biological park/zoo in there, a lake with boating, a waterpark, a science center, an artisan village and an ethnic house, all inside Pilikula Nisargadhama.
They have this battery operated vehicle called buggy that drops you off at spots inside Nisargadhama. Ticket prices are alright.
Let's talk about the zoo first, cuz I loved spending time there the most as a solo traveller. This was a wonderful. Takes about 3 hours to walk through the entire zoo, that is if you're gonna be pausing by every animal/bird and admire like I did. It was a bit sad that some lives were enclosed in a relatively smaller cage/enclosure, but let's not go into that. As far as zoos go, this was a good place. Lots of shade, good walking, lots of greenery, clean and well maintained.
Downside is, they had no drinking water throughout the zoo, except for the couple of shops at the entrance of the zoo. A couple spots had benches for you to sit down and relax.
Then the lake with boating. BEAUTIFUL. Very clean walking place and lots of green and flowers, huuuugee lake, kinda dirty water. You need to walk, like A LOT. Definitely worth checking out, spending the afternoon or evening.
I absolutely loved the ethnic house at the artisan village. The artisan village was pretty much empty, but that ethnic house was a very beautiful place, awe inspiring.
There's a restaurant inside, food is okay, not bad, pricey. A there are a couple of small villas for staying in there.
I didn't get to visit the water park, but seemed promising.
Also, there's a science center.
Most importantly, even though there are buggys you can ride, you gotta walk so much, I loved that.
Overall you'll spend a good day here.
