点评:The place was clean, neat and tidy, and the donkeys looked happy and healthy....apart from a couple who had mats in their extra floofy ears. However, the donkeys only really want to interact whilst there's carrots on the go, and will bray, kick and barge until they get them. We had a jacket spud and cheese burger from the cafe - these were ok, but very basic... no onions for the burgers, and while the spud was a decent size and fluffy, it had tasteless cheddar on it, barely any butter and no salt. We asked for extra salt and was told there was some in the carton. There was one tiny sachet in my partner's chip carton. We were hoping to buy some donkey related gifts from the shop, but it was a bit of an eclectic mix and not what we had in mind. There is a folder in the shop that details the background of each donkey - it would be nice is this info was put on boards on the relevant enclosures so people know the stories of these lovely creatures. At a £1 each donation and a £1 for a small bucket of carrots, it is well worth a visit if you're in the area.
