Brilliant attraction but dire organisation of practical matters during 'Medieval' festivities

点评：This is indeed a beautiful fortress and, during the August 'Medieval' festivities is a great place to visit. Yes, that is truly worth a visit BUT: with probably over a thousand people present there are only two loos, one at each end of the site. The eating option is very very limited with different flavoured mini pasties. It took us exactly 1 hour to queue and purchase a very slim 'meal'.
And let's talk about the long queues to get in. Not sure that was the best way to manage things. And amazingly, if you want to leave there is no sign for where the 'Sortie' is. In fact you have to navigate the queue of cars trying to get in and taking up the full width of the entrance drive.
Five stars for the attraction on 3rd and 4th August but two stars for the organisation of the practical matters. Hope next year will be better!
