The Huguenot Memorial Monument的点评
点评：This is actually three places rolled into one – a museum, then another museum across the road and then the Huguenot Memorial, which is only accessible once you have been through the museum and bought your 100 ZAR ticket.
The content of the museum is interesting and well laid out. Although I had covered aspects of the religious persecution of the Huguenots in history, the layout and accompanying commentary made me realise just how awfully persecuted these people were, which is why the emigrated around the world, some coming to Franshoek.
Given the wider conflicts in the world. It was salutary to think of the dreadful experiences these early pioneers suffered.
A little more enthusiasm and interactivity from staff working over the road in the second museum would have enhanced the experience.
