Fort Niagara State Park的点评
点评：If you are into history, this fort should not be missed. It is north of Niagara Falls at the northern most part of the area. Right on Lake Ontario. And because so it’s extremely windy there.
You can tour the whole entire fort grounds as well as various in battlements. They also have costumed docent throughout that talk about various aspects of living at the fort back in the day. There’s also a really cool armory demonstration that you shouldn’t miss at various times through the day.
You can also tour inside some of the battlements and the fort itself, which at the time was under construction.
You can also sit on the many benches around the grounds and overlook Lake Ontario, and you can see Toronto across the way. There is also free parking and visitor center with a orientation video. And there’s a really cute lighthouse that’s at the end of the parking lot which was surprising.
