Broadkill Beach的点评
点评：I never write reviews, and yet love reading them. After bringing my young family to this beach I felt the need to warn others. Unless you have sentimental attachment to the area I see no reason to book an extended trip here. Make it a day trip. It’s a quiet, empty place for a reason and that reason is BITING flies and an array of other annoying bugs. When I say biting I mean painful bites on any speck of skin not doused in DEET.
We are a camping family and came prepared w bug spray and a positive attitude bc we love nature and all that. The beach smells bad most of the day and the crabs, while charming and interesting at first become a gross eyesore as the decaying bodies surround you everyday. Again, neat place for nature and a day trip, but you won’t relax, especially worrying over keeping bug spray on children (and yourself). It really is that bad. We cut our beach trip off early because we were so over the stress. Just go to Rehoboth.
