Daventry Country Park的点评
点评：Disappointing. Have been to Daventry Country Park many times in the past but not recently. The walk was lovely as always however a few things spoiled it for us:
Parking : It was not initially clear that we did not have to download an app to pay - as we are unable to do this, we were wondering what to do. We then realised that we could pay by card - this did not work on the first machine we tried. Went to another machine, it still wouldn’t work. Then realised we could pay cash. Scrambled round to find cash, this finally worked on the third attempt and a ticket was issued.
We enjoyed the walk and decided to stop at the cafe for lunch. Wanted to wash our hands. Queued up for the toilets only to find the handwash facility inside the toilet booth didn’t work. Had to queue again and luckily was able to wash hands.
Cafe: Ordered a tuna sandwich for £5.65. Served quickly but the sandwich was small, bread was thin. Not what we were expecting.
Sadly, we won’t be going again.
