Best experience on 3-day lower Deschutes with Pippa, Kaden, and Haven

点评：We just returned from an amazing 3-day, 2-night trip on the Lower Deschutes. Pippa was the guide of our boat and she not only brought mad skills, she was funny and engaging and just a gem who made the experience that much better. Kaden was on our trip’s second boat and he was fun to chat with at camp and obviously loved what he was doing. Haven had the gear boat and got us the best spots- and makes a pretty mean appetizer plate.
Before the trip Haven called to make sure we were set and to answer any questions or concerns- it was a reassuring and friendly way to kick off the trip.
The trip…. I have no idea how to even adequately describe it other than to say we felt safe, very well cared for, and just absolutely the most fortunate people to experience such a beautiful river with great guides, and two boats full of fantastic people. Pippa had us surfing a wave on day 3 that I’ll remember for the rest of my life- and the rapids were damned near as wonderful as just the breathtaking scenery.
Don’t hesitate- do it! It’s amazing.
