Awful experience, not without irony, but definitely without management.

点评：Booked in for swimming at 1230 on a Saturday. Arrived at 1100 with the hopes of taking my son to the soft play first (which is not available to be booked). Was told that the next available session would be at 1140. Asked if I could book into that session. Was told I would have to return to the desk to get a place at 1140. Kind younger staff members allowed us to sit in the cafe and wait.
Returned to front desk at 1135 to book soft play. Waited in an extremely awkward and growing queue until 1145 when they finally started accepting entries. Reception staff didn’t seem to care, although they did acknowledge that the situation was a little ridiculous and they would probably benefit from a booking system, but we were told that “The manager wants it this way”. When I asked if I could collect an wrist band for swimming access, I was told that I would have to show up at the desk 15 minutes early as the ‘sessions expire’ (not 100% sure what the shelf life of a rubber wristband is, as I am not an expert, so took it at face value) which seemed odd due to the lack of pre-booking regarding the soft play. Awful management, horrible experience with staff that don’t seem to care about customers or their colleagues (apart from one notable exception - thank you Jessica!) and sub par facilities (I understand that the changing rooms are being refurbished, but that should lead you top repair/clean the ones that are available more often, but again, what do I know?). Could be a great place if they sorted themselves out, however, I think it would require replacing the clearly useless management and feckless staff. Good luck to anyone who goes here!
