Gentleshaw Birds of Prey and Wildlife Centre的点评
点评：Honestly cannot recommend here enough.
Found via a quick internet search, and for £5ea for an adult you wouldn’t expect much. We saw multiple types of birds we haven’t seen before, animals we haven’t seen before and didn’t know we could in the uk.. raccoons!! . As an adult couple we spent a little over a hour but would have stayed longer if it was warmer. The animals all look happy, and it’s great to see staff using enrichment toys whilst feeding.
The signs and introduction for each animal were a treat to read and made the experience more personalised learning about their own individual characters. A huge hats off to the staff as we read each and everyone is a volunteer.
Our favourite part was the iguana and his roommates.. I will not divulge as it’s a strange and unexpected companionship but one that made our day.
Truely is a little gem of a place and defiantly worth every penny and more. We will be returning in the warmer weather! Thank you and well done!
