Walks along the prom/beach

点评：Was staying at The Aberavon Beach Hotel which is opposite the beach. I took the opportunity to walk along the prom/beach every morning before breakfast and in the evenings.
Passed lots of people walking dogs, jogging, cycling or like me just walking. Most people said good morning and smiled. A very pleasant walk. The beach is quite long. I only went as far as the dunes. The beach was clean and every morning there was a truck emptying the bins and picking up the rubbish the seagulls had pulled out of the bins. There are few things to do there, there is a big wheel, a splash park, a small adventure golf and a small skate park. I go back a long way and remember the fixed fun fair at the end and the paddling pool. A walk along the front and a pint at the Four Winds (now closed) ,,,,as the song says.....those were the days my friend.......
If in the area it is certainly worth visiting.
