点评:Not only one of the"must see" sites of this small charming Kent town, but one of its most accessible with history and religious significance all around. The church building has been retains, along with all its artifacts, but now as acts as a community centre. This means the best of both worlds insomuchas there are sections such as artifacts, bookshops, toyshop and an excellent cafe. Itis in effect a covered market in a religious building complete with stained glass, some pews and the opportunity to go and enjoy the views from the top of the tower ( cost £3.50). If you take up the tower challenge betware the bells ar loud, and ring every 15 minutes or more, as well as some quite narrow spiral steps, and there is also much evidence of many pigeons (everywhere at the top of the tower, I suggest a hat and some handwash....
Well worth the climb up and great to see the layout of this small town, and even moreso to see just how far the sea has receeded fro this once signifcant Cinquet Port.

非常值得攀登,很高兴看到这个小镇的布局,更值得一看的是海水从这个曾经重要的五渔村港退去多远。
