点评:We've visited Alpe d'Huez before as skiers and loved it. Now we've given up skiing due to age (79 and 72) and decided to visit again as walkers. We took a couple of straighforward walks which were on the lower part of the mountain and loved it. Then we decided to go to the top of Pic Blanc 2 (used to be DMC 2) and walk across to the top of Dome des Rousses 2800 which is clearly marked as a walking route on the 'Plan Pietons' map. We followed the route clearly marked 'pietons' from the lift and walked round a clear path leading round the side of the mountain. After around 30 minutes walking we could see a red ski run coming down ahead of us, and NO OTHER PATH that we could find. Quite apart from the fact that it would be highly dangerous to walk on a narrow red run because of the risk of collision with fast skiers coming down, the path was far too steep to walk. No other path was visible and there was no signpost anywhere to show us where to go. We retraced our steps the way we had come, and took the lift down again very discouraged and alarmed that we could be left at the top of the mountain with no patrols and no signposts. We won't be returning to this place because they clearly aren't interested in walkers, only skiers. If you're a skier, I recommend this place unreservedly but I'm afraid I no longer trust them if I'm walking in the mountains as they clearly can't be bothered with people in this relative minority.
