点评:Due to a limited budget, we have been looking for cheap/free things to do around Great Yarmouth whilst on holiday. We found out about this on TripAdvisor and thought we would give it a go. As mentioned in their post, this is a floating museum that (although not currently) is still in steam to this day, and you can really feel what it would have been like back in the 1920s as a fisherman aboard this beautiful vessel. Being from the 1920s, it is understandable that access around the boat is not amazing, but they have done their best on a ship of this age, while preserving all of it. But this is not suitable for limited mobility.
The best bit, though, is the volunteers who mentioned many interesting facts and engaged well with our 6-year-old, who has many questions and encouraged him to try out the bunks etc. The enthusiasm and effort they put into preserving this vessel and spending time with us made our morning! If you do one thing, though, try and see it all above and below deck; they really encourage you to go anywhere on board ( my boy was pleased about going in the wheelhouse)
Lastly, and most importantly this is a free exhibit where you could loose an hour easily. Remember to do a donation. Even on a low budget even a few pounds can go a long way to preserve this history.
