点评：My wife and I and our two friends fancied the 'High Tide Cruise' from Falmouth up to Truro and so I booked tickets online.
I was initially a little disappointed that we were unable to navigate all the way up the Truro River due to the very high tide and chance of the flood gates being closed, but was informed of this possibility well in advance, and on booking, so simply looked forward to enjoying a leisurely evening cruise, and as the weather turned out to be warm and pleasant all looked favourable for an enjoyable evening, and it certainly was.
The Skipper went out of his way to ensure those aboard had both an enjoyable and memorable cruise pointing out various items of interest, slowing down in order passengers could be sure of decent photographs, whilst the lady crewmember attended to passengers seeking refreshment. No one was left wanting.
On the return journey we were treated to a gentle cruise down river, popping into a couple of creeks, and witnessed a beautiful sunset which was basically the 'icing on the cake' to a lovely evening.
Being from Truro I was lucky enough to enjoy the 'Enterprise' boats plying to and from Falmouth and Truro over the years, which has seemingly now ceased to be a regular route probably due to silting channels, however I trust that the 'High Tide' cruises can continue well into the future in which case we will certainly look to book again next year.
