Aggressive and misogynistic male members of staff

点评：I had an awful experience in Finnegans wake Edinburgh with a male member of staff. I would urge all women to avoid this pub. I was having some drinks with a friend when a male member of staff came into my face and aggressively told me to sit down. When I questioned him he argued that I had been told my skirt was too short and that I was told to sit down. I had been told no such thing. He then took me to an isolated area of the pub where he continued aggressively arguing with me. As a young 18 year old girl having a grown man make comments on what I choose to put on my body was offensive, intimidating and inappropriate. Other customers eventually came over to help me at this point his manager and a bouncer came over. Both of whom agreed that my outfit fully covered me and that he had no right to speak to me in such an aggressive and intimidating manner, whilst I appreciated this I still felt they did not take the situation seriously. Considering the issues women are facing on nights out it is disgusting to have to deal with this kind of treatment from members of staff. If you are young and don’t want to be yelled at by old men I would never go to this pub.
