点评:I planned to see this place during my 3 day stay in Mashhad.
Personally I feel a special kind of respect towards Nader Shah because I've read about him in history books, so I wanted to see his tomb and learn a bit more about him.
He had been buried in a different place at first but time had destroyed the original tomb and this place was designed during Pahlavi reign out of respect for this powerful ruler.
The design of this place is actually very innovative and while inside, you can read about it. There are many informative signs on the walls (all in Persian) and there's a very big metal statue placed on top of the building depicting Bader Shah and 3 soldiers helping him during war. (Going to war was the only thing he loved to do in his lifetime)
The architect and the sculptor who designed this place were actually some of the best Iranian artists of the time.
It takes around 40 minutes to see the whole place. The tomb is located in a nice garden and there's a tiny gallery too where you can see some artifacts from Nader's time.
The neighborhood is somehow crowded and it's best to take a taxi or call an internet taxi to get to this place specially if you are visiting in summer.
