Seems to be getting worse overall, issues + suggestions.
Hampton Downs Motorsport Park的点评
点评：Seems to be getting somewhat worse over time. Before getting into my issues I have to say these issues are more for a competitive racer rather than someones first time or other casual event, it's still great for a first experience or other similar casual karting.
Loved my first few times coming to the go kart track here but now it seems to be getting worse here is why:
-Karts are slower than they used to be. (Should be faster for experienced people at least)
-Kart performance is inconsistent. For example I was multiple seconds a lap slower on the straight some months back as the kart was maxing out, another time the system used to slow us down during yellow flags simply didn't work so I was full speed all the time which could be dangerous.
-Unable to drive in most wet/mixed conditions even when they would be able to.
-Do not offer any small helmets with go pro mount.
-Extremely expensive for 10 minutes.
-No option when booking to say "I've been here and don't need a safety briefing".
I believe for these reasons and others that I cannot think of right now their sales are going down. There are less people coming here, here are some suggestions to make this experience better:
-Fix issues listed above.
-Add cameras to the track and let people bring a usb device to get their sessions footage or similar system.
-Offer real races eg one lap quali and then a 14-18 lap race (how many laps you would get in a normal 10 min session).
