Very lovely individual little shops, easy parking, Avoid the tearoom
Heart Of The Shires Shopping Village的点评
点评：I’ve been coming here for years, perfect little place to meet friends or take someone that is visiting. Myself and my partner also do a huge Christmas shop from here each year for family and friends, with the old fashioned sweet shop, and beautiful homeware and gift shops, there’s something for everyone. It’s also very beautiful at Christmas!
Parking is free and I’ve never had an issue getting a space. TIP: If I’m with elderly relatives I tend to drop them at the entrance and then find a space so they don’t have to walk too far.
Now the negative… the tea room has gone downhill massively and with no competition within the heart of the shires , they don’t seem to care as they are always busy, but this is purely as it’s the only place to have a drink. TIP: bring a flask/picnic and sit in the courtyard or….go further up the A5 to the old dairy farm “barn” cafe, the food there is delicious and good value
The other thing, I think there may need to be more signposts or some A frames , as I didn’t realise there is an excellent pet shop there near the garden centre bit, the pet shop and garden/plant shop both have amazing well informed friendly staff. The signs are probably there and I’m being blind , just thought I’d note it. There is a map by the entrance but because I go often I didn’t think to look.
