点评：If you know anything about Father Edward Flanagan and Boys Town in Omaha, Nebraska, USA, this is MUST SEE place to experience the beginnings of Father Flanagan. We were on a pilgrimage from Omaha, and this was a MUST SEE place to visit. We had Father Ryan Lewis, our sponsor, who worked with others to gather the documentation to submit to the Vatican to show why Father Flanagan should become a Saint. His status of Sainthood was changed to Venerable by Pope Leo XIV on March 23, 2026, and is in the Roman Phase for Canonization Process which we pray to take him to Beautification and then onto Canonization to become a Saint. For his beautification, a miracle attributed to his intercession must be confirmed.
We all that see the work that Father Flanagan started and continues to move with all the students who have the opportunity to live and grow and Boys Town.
The Father Flanagan Visitor Center was exceptional as it had a strong sense of what Father Flanagan started when he made it to Omaha and started in Boys Town. Documentation, sayings and artifacts plus an exceptional team that believes that Father Flanagan will make it to sainthood. We were able to see and hear stores about him as a young boy, his family and his desire to start a home for boys when these individuals were left behind. So much to see and hear.
We were able to celebrate mass in the church adjacent to the Center with Father Lewis as presider along with the staff from the Father Flangan Visitor Center and the 34 members from Omaha who know a lot about Father Flanagan and Boys Town. It made us proud to have this included in our journey and share our stories of Boys Town with the staff from the center. This was a wonderful place to visit and so much history in this building. You need to add this to your journey to help a great man become a Saint!
