Ride The Tide Surf School的点评
点评：We booked our boards online back in August 2025 for our trip in January 2026.
We arrived at our accomadation on New Year’s Day and chilled out and went to pick our boards up the following day.
On arrival it was quite busy with people picking up boards and being organised for surf lessons.
Jay the owner saw us and came over to welcome us ‘ Ride The Tide ‘ and guided us to a seated area and said he would be with us directly .
We didn’t have to wait long before we were greeted by Jay again and all our boards were sorted and we were on our way.
We hired about 6 longboards and a body board , the boards were super and fairly new …. None of that usual surf hire crap you get palmed off with.
Most of us had Walden NSP’s 9’6” - 10’ and a huge 11’ .
The shop assistant was very patient and welcoming whilst sorting out our boards.
We are surfing Freights Bay , small swell since we got here 1-2ft so the big boards are being well used.
As most of us are 50-70 yrs old the big logs are getting on the waves.
I brought my own leash as I prefer knee leashes and the hire boards leashes are ankle , some bought there own Center fin’s and have adjusted the boards to there own requirements .
We were told we could swap boards if needed so no problem there…. Just incase the swell gets bigger.
In all very impressed with the level of the equipment and service provided.
Bonus is the shop is literally a 2 minute walk from where we are staying , over looking the beach.
Jay and his surf school are on the beach everyday , Been watching Jay doing one on one lessons and it’s impressive .

我自带了冲浪绳，因为我喜欢膝部系绳，而租来的冲浪板系绳是脚踝系绳。有些人自带了中鳍，并根据自己的需求调整了冲浪板。

总而言之，我对这里提供的设备和服务水平非常满意。
更棒的是，这家店离我们住的地方只有两分钟的步行路程，而且就在海滩边。
