点评：Sadly tonight is my last night on the Isle of Barra, we decided to take a walk down on Vatersay beach with the kids. Luckily I seen some people running from the sauna to the sea and when they emerged I asked was the sauna still open?
The guys said it was theirs and they’d be finishing up soon. They kindly offered to let me join them for their final relaxing 20 minutes in the brilliant little barrel sauna. There were 7 of us in there and it wasn’t cramped with the temperature a nice hot 80+ degrees with every ladle of water it was sweltering. After a while the guys were going again on a quick jog to the sea and I plucked up the courage to join them and when I dived into that water I realised what all the hype was about, it was bliss from the hot to the cold my day and my trip to Barra was complete.
I’d been hoping to experience the Hebridean Sauna since seeing them on Facebook and they didn’t disappoint. Nice and clean, piping hot. You couldn’t ask for more, well maybe a cold beer but that could wait. Honestly if you’re able to visit I’d highly recommend you do.
