Tulips not from Amsterdam but from North Yorkshire!

点评：This was the second year that we have attended the Tulip Festival here. The grounds are only open for special events and not on a daily basis so it is wise to take advantage when they are open.
The Tulip Festival can get very busy so it is worth arriving early before the coaches start to appear. Toilet facilities are limited and they also get very busy when the coaches arrive.
The tulips were lovely (and there was the opportunity to buy bulbs) but the rest of the grounds were also well worth investigating. Parts of the grounds must have stunning when the daffodils were in bloom and the “wild” areas were rich in native flowers as well things that had been deliberately planted.
There were refreshments on sale, including home made cakes and savouries. The ladies on duty in the refreshment tent were very pleasant and helpful.
