Beautiful State Park But Campground is Only O.K.

点评：We camped here for a week in September 2023. The park is beautiful in the forested areas. Unfortunately we were here during hunting season which made it a bit difficult as to what trails were safe to go on. The trails that we did hike were nice and well maintained. The campground was not as pretty as the rest of the park. Our site was in a big open area with few trees and no privacy. It was on a hill and very difficult to get leveled. But it did have full hookups which is always nice and unexpected at a state park. The bathroom was in serious need of a rehab. The windows had no screens, and there were bugs everywhere. Believe me it was no fun using the facilities only to notice several ticks crawling up the wall next to you! If I were rating the campground only, instead of the whole park, I would have given it a 2 or 3 instead of a 4. The park is in a great location for visiting several other state parks as well. It is also located near the Flight 93 Memorial, a must see place to visit. I would visit this park again, but I am not sure that I would camp here again. Probably try one of the other state parks in the area.
