Waited over an hour for our order before we got fed up and cancelled

点评：I appreciate that this is a charity and not a commercial cafe, but we were left waiting an hour and fifteen minutes for an order of pancakes before we finally got fed up and asked for the order to be cancelled and refunded. The place was fairly busy, but there is no excuse for a wait time of this length of an order of pancakes not to be flagged when ordering so that you can choose whether or not you really want to wait that long, which would avoid a lot of unhappy customers.
We didn't actually get to try anything beyond a cup of tea, but the food looked quite good from what we could see and the staff were friendly, but we didn't really have the time to spare to wait. There were a lot of families with very young children waiting a long time for orders which can't have been much fun for them.
Would suggest asking how many orders there are in front of yours and how long it's likely to take before ordering unless you are prepared to have a long wait.
