点评：This can only be a partial review, because I was at Marshside too early in the morning for anything to be open, and the tide was a long way out. One or two observations, then:
The 44 bus-stop at Elswick Rd is billed as 200 metres from the reserve; I wasn't counting the metres but I think Bryson DeChambeau would play it as a par 6.
The Redshank Rd should go through seasonal changes of name: Meadow Pipit Rd in July, perhaps. Be prepared to see little else.
The trail around the wetlands southwest of the carpark, taking in Nel's Hide and three viewing points, may best be regarded as the start of your walk back to town. If you take it as a walk back to the bus-stop, Hesketh Golf Course will remind you of the old adage about golf: a good walk ruined.
