Fantastic campsite!
Pillaton Hall Farm的点评
点评：Initially I was surprised by the high price for camping, probably the most we have ever paid but we booked cause it was local to us and recommended. There was also a huge list of rules so we were a little apprehensive but following our visit i was not disappointed. Rules clearly work for this place as no rif raff at all and we felt very comfortable and safe. Very family friendly.
Pitches were huge and didnt feel crowded at all, shame we werent allowed a pup tent for free as definitely had the space for it. Grounds were very well kept and patrolled regularly. Facilities were great and showers that u actually wanted to use! Lovely cafe and bar on site, great parks for the children, lovely scenic views. Very well stocked and reasonably priced shop. The activity lake being man made and controlled from algae was so nice and brilliant for paddle boarding.
Just a tip for the camping electric they recommend £5 a night but we only used £1.50 for 3 nights. We were minded to not credit it back as the meter doesn't tell u what u have used or have left and assumed too little so not to bother but glad we did now!We just had a cool box plugged in for the whole time and phone/tablet chargers.
Only other reason not given 5* is the price of the paddle boarding and inflatables. When u compare the cliff lakes its overpriced but guess u are paying for the luxury of the algae free lake! So maybe 4.5* is worthy
